The Malibu Film Society Annual Membership Valid for a full 12 months from the date you join, Annual Membership offers by far the best value: free admission/access to 70+ screenings each year, discount admission to catered events (such as our Dinner & a Movie Nights and our annual Oscar Party), exclusive members-only reservations windows (available before an event sells out), discount admission for your guests, and a lot more!

With a combined value of more than $3,000 a year, Annual Membership is just $300 per person $550 per couple, with the option of adding children under 18 for just $150 each.


Industry Season Pass Membership Provides free admission for you and your +1 to all FYC screenings. Applicants must be active voting members of the SAG-AFTRA Nomination Committee*, other industry guilds, BAFTA, NATAS (during Emmy Season), or AMPAS (during Oscar Season); a digital copy of your organization's ID card must be submitted with your application.

Season Passes expire with the awards voting deadline, after which industry members are invited to support our ongoing mission by purchasing a Full Annual Membership (with all associated benefits) at 50% the our regular rate. Otherwise, new applications are required at the start of the next Awards Season.

*Limited seating capacity prevents us from accommodating regular members of SAG-AFTRA. A current Nominating Committee ID card is required for approval.


Malibu Resident Membership This is only for Malibu residents who have not already signed up as Annual Members of MFS. As our Special Event Series at Malibu City Hall is funded entirely by a grant from the City of Malibu, locals who otherwise have to buy tickets to our shows can get free seats by signing up for a Malibu Resident Membership.

Note: as this program is underwritten by local tax dollars, it is only available to those living within the City Limits. A digital copy of your driver's license showing your Malibu address must be submitted with your application.


Pay-As-You-Go Membership This is the best option for those on a budget or who only attend a limited number of shows. Once registered, just log into your account and sign up for the event(s) you want to attend.
